Our Story

About Us

Hi, we are Marian & Lee, established in 2022.  We were created by Marian and her significant other, Joaquin, who wanted to share Marian’s love of candles and the memory of her mother, Lee, who loved candles and anything for a pleasant aroma. 

Rosa Lee was her first and middle name, however she was affectionately known by her family as “Lee”. Unfortunately, she unexpectedly passed away about 20 years ago.   Lee was into health, fitness, good odors, being natural, environmentally conscious, and vegetarianism in the 1990s when it was unpopular.  However, love never dies and continues through family and friends.

Marian is one of Lee’s daughters and into aromas for relaxation, exercise, and being eco-friendly, when possible. 

 

About our candles

Our goal is to provide good aromas and assist with contributing to less environmental waste.  We currently only use soy wax for all candles and tea lights. We are eco-conscious when able to and use paper labels for our candle jars, so that the label is easy to remove and reuse the jar after using the candle. We use paper, cardboard materials for packaging. We research the business who makes the soy wax and do our best to avoid any companies supporting deforestation to produce soy.  

Soy wax has received attention in the last few years as producing releasing less toxins into the air we breathe compared to paraffin wax.   Therefore, we are only using soy wax.
